This 11-day Georgia tour brings together the capital, the Greater Caucasus, Georgia’s wine region, historic towns, the Black Sea coast and western Georgia’s natural attractions in one private itinerary. Starting and ending in Tbilisi, the route covers Tbilisi, Kazbegi, Kakheti, Mtskheta, Gori, Uplistsikhe, Kutaisi, Batumi, Martvili Canyon and Prometheus Cave. Your journey begins with a private airport transfer to Tbilisi, followed on Day 2 by a guided walking tour of the capital. The route introduces Old Tbilisi through landmarks such as Metekhi, Europe Square, Rike Park, the Bridge of Peace, Anchiskhati Basilica, Sioni Cathedral, Narikala Fortress and Mother of Georgia.
The first mountain section of the 11-day Georgia tour follows the Georgian Military Highway. You travel past Zhinvali Water Reservoir, Ananuri Fortress and the viewpoints of Gudauri before reaching Stepantsminda, also known as Kazbegi. After spending the night in Kazbegi, the next day includes Dariali Gorge, the Dariali Monastery Complex and a 4WD journey to Gergeti Trinity Church before returning to Tbilisi.
Day 5 is dedicated to Kakheti and Georgian wine culture. The route includes Badiauri, Bodbe, Sighnaghi and views across the Alazani Valley. The wine program includes a local family winery with three tastings and KTW Winery with five tastings before you return to Tbilisi.
The following day connects several important historical destinations on the way to western Georgia. You will visit Jvari Monastery and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral in Mtskheta, continue to Gori and the Stalin Museum, and then explore the ancient cave town of Uplistsikhe. The day finishes in Kutaisi.
From Kutaisi, the 11-day Georgia tour continues to Batumi on the Black Sea coast. A guided walking tour introduces the city’s central squares, architecture, waterfront and major landmarks. The next day is reserved for Gonio Beach, followed on Day 9 by Batumi Botanical Garden before the route returns to Kutaisi.
The final full sightseeing day focuses on western Georgia’s natural attractions. You will visit Martvili Canyon and Prometheus Cave before returning to Tbilisi. Entrance fees are included at both sites, while the included boat trips operate only when weather conditions allow.
This itinerary is particularly suitable for travelers who want to combine Georgian history, mountain landscapes, wine culture, the Black Sea coast and natural attractions without limiting the trip to a single region. Your 11-day Georgia tour begins with a private transfer from Tbilisi International Airport to your destination in Tbilisi.
After meeting your driver at the airport and collecting your luggage, you will travel directly to the city. Please provide your flight details in advance so the arrival transfer can be arranged according to your landing time.
The remainder of the day is free for arrival and settling in before the sightseeing program begins on Day 2.
Your first full sightseeing day is dedicated to Tbilisi. The guided walking tour begins in the historic center and introduces the story of the city’s foundation as you explore the Metekhi area and the old streets.
The route includes the Bridge of Peace, Europe Square, Rike Park and the Clock Tower at Rezo Gabriadze’s Puppet Theatre. You will also visit or see important religious and cultural landmarks such as Anchiskhati Basilica, Sioni Cathedral and the Patriarchate of Georgia.
The walk continues through Old Tbilisi toward Mother of Georgia, Narikala Fortress, Juma Mosque, the Bridge of Love and Leghvtakhevi Waterfall. Other stops include the Tamada Statue and the Berlin Wall Memorial.
Day 3 of the 11-day Georgia tour begins the mountain section of the itinerary with a journey north along the Georgian Military Highway.
The first major stops include Zhinvali Water Reservoir and Ananuri Fortress Complex. From there, you continue higher into the Greater Caucasus toward Gudauri, where the itinerary includes a panoramic viewpoint and the Friendship Monument.
The route then continues to Stepantsminda, also known as Kazbegi. You will spend the night in Kazbegi before continuing the mountain program the following day.
The day begins with further exploration of the Kazbegi area. You will travel toward Dariali Gorge and visit the Dariali Monastery Complex.
Afterwards, you will return toward Stepantsminda and transfer to a 4WD vehicle for the drive to Gergeti Trinity Church. The 4WD transportation from Stepantsminda to Gergeti is included in the tour.
After completing the mountain sightseeing program, you will return to Tbilisi.
The 11-day Georgia tour continues west with a day combining Mtskheta, Gori and Uplistsikhe.
You will first visit Jvari Monastery before continuing to Mtskheta and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral. The route then leads to Gori, where you will visit the Stalin Museum. The entrance fee is included.
After Gori, you will explore Uplistsikhe Cave Town, an ancient settlement carved into rock. Its entrance fee is also included in the tour.
After the sightseeing program, you will continue to Kutaisi, where the day ends.
From Kutaisi, you will travel to Batumi for a guided walking tour of the Black Sea city.
The route includes the Colonnades, Dancing Fountains, Fountain of Neptune, Batumi Drama Theatre, Astronomical Clock, Europe Square, Medea Monument, Holy Mother Virgin Nativity Cathedral, Piazza Square, Church of St. Nicholas and Batumi Mosque.
You will also explore Batumi’s waterfront landmarks, including the Sea Port, Chacha Tower, Panoramic Wheel, Ali and Nino Monument, Miracle Park, Alphabetic Tower, the Lighthouse and Batumi Boulevard.
The day ends in Batumi.
Day 8 provides a change of pace with a visit to Gonio Beach on the Black Sea coast.
The itinerary allows time to experience the beach and coastline before returning to Batumi. This day is less sightseeing-intensive than the previous days and provides time by the sea during the 11-day Georgia tour.
The day begins with a visit to Batumi Botanical Garden, the final scheduled attraction in the Batumi area.
After exploring the garden and its extensive plant collections, you will leave the Black Sea coast and travel back to Kutaisi.
The final full sightseeing day of the 11-day Georgia tour focuses on two natural attractions in western Georgia: Martvili Canyon and Prometheus Cave.
The entrance fee to Martvili Canyon is included. A boat trip is also included when conditions allow it to operate, but it may be unavailable during rainy weather or if it has rained the previous day.
You will also visit Prometheus Cave Natural Monument. The entrance fee and boat trip are included, although the boat trip is also subject to weather conditions.
After visiting both sites, you will return to Tbilisi for the night.
Your 11-day Georgia tour concludes with a private transfer from your hotel to Tbilisi International Airport.
