Choose what you want to do next! You can either check out the Stalin Museum for an hour to learn about Joseph Stalin, the leader from the past, and see where he lived. Or, if you prefer, take a walk and explore Gori alone.

After Gori, you will visit Jvari Monastery, also known as the "Monastery of the Cross." This 6th-century Georgian Orthodox monastery is near Mtskheta and is recognized by UNESCO as a world heritage site. Positioned on a rocky mountain where the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers meet, Jvari Monastery offers a stunning view of Mtskheta, the former capital of the kingdom of Iberia, adding a touch of history to your one-day tour in Georgia.
