The day’s first stop will be in Surami, where you will have the opportunity to taste a famous freshly-baked Nazuqi (sweet bread baked in an oven), which is a morning must-have for local Georgians.
Continue on tour to the Martvili district, one of the most gorgeous places in Georgia, combining different unique natural environments. You will be shocked by brilliant scenery, sensational waterfalls, and a boat trip in the river, which possesses a deep-green color. You can board a boat with a boatman, and he will take you on an unforgettable journey between the high rocks in the canyon. You will also have the chance to have lunch (by request) and try out traditional Georgian dishes.
Get your camera ready for Kumistavi (Prometheus Cave), the biggest cave in Georgia. This vast and impressive cave has spectacular views of stalactites, stalagmites, petrified waterfalls, underground rivers, and lakes. Colorful lights range from orange, red, pink, and blue within the cave. You have two options to enjoy your remarkable cave tour. You may choose a walking tour along the 1,600-meter route or opt for a boat ride along the underground river. When the tour ends, you will be dropped in Kutaisi, the third-biggest city in Georgia, or Tbilisi.

After this, we're traveling to Martvili Canyon. This wonderful place is located in the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region, Georgia. The small city of Martvili is just half an hour away from Kutaisi. Martvili district is truly one of the gorgeous places in Georgia – combining a unique natural environment. You will be shocked by brilliant scenery, sensational waterfalls, and a boat trip in the river with deep green color. Martvili is in the west part of Georgia and belongs to Mingrelia region. Mingrelia is popular with cuisine, and it has many different dishes, especially spicy food. At the restaurant, you will be able to try local food.
We visit Kumistavi (Prometheus Cave) that is the most magnificent cave in Georgia. Kumistavi owes a famous Caucasian myth about Amirani for the sonorous naming of the “Cave of Prometheus.” The legend says that Amirani, like Prometheus, angered the Gods and was punished brutally. Days and nights, the eagle tormented him eating his liver; however, in contrast to the Greek giant, cruel Gods chained Amirani not to the rock but somewhere inside a massive cave. Presumably, it is in Kumistavi. Khvamli Mountain is visible from Prometheus Cave and is the place where legend says that Prometheus was chained. There are spectacular views of stalactites, stalagmites, petrified waterfalls, underground rivers, and lakes of the cave.
