We were in Kakheti today with Anna as our guide and Gaga as our driver. It has been a great experience! We've liked that the tour is not based on drinking alcohol so also non-drinking people can enjoy the tour. Anna told us a lot about the life in Georgia, the history of the region and answered all of our questions. We will recommend this tour to our friends back home.

Experience with the company actually started with a system error due to my inattentiveness — I booked wrong tour in wrong language. And of course discovery happened last minute. But what could have been a frustrating situation turned into a very positive experience. The team handled the issue perfectly: they arranged quickly the correct tour and were very helpful. What a great way to spend my last night in Tbilisi! I thoroughly enjoyed the evening and during the course, we learned I cook 4 dishes in a family home. After cooking, we ate the food we prepared and drank some wine and a drop of Chacha. The course ran at a good pace and Tako, our guide was very informative, giving me a great insight into Georgian culinary culture.

Turen var mycket fin. David Gareja klostret och Regnbågsbergen är verkligen värda att besöka. Vi var först lite oroliga att det skulle bli för mycket sol men det visade sig att det gick bra. Klosterbesöket gav många tillfällen till att vara i skugga. Den enda riktigt soliga delen var efter lunch, då vi skulle titta närmare på Regnbågsbergen. Det är dock en relativ kort promenad och man kan dessutom bara gå en del om man vill (vilket vi gjorde). Guiden (Gabriel) var mycket kunnig och tillmötesgående och chauffören var exemplarisk… vilket hör till ovanligheterna här. Vi kan varmt rekommendera utflykten!

Gio, our tour guide, made this trip. A real history buff who actually knows the region — answered every question we had, no matter how off-topic, and never rushed us. Warm, accommodating, genuinely nice guy. Small touch that stuck with me: he let the group pick the music between stops. I don't usually like group tours, but this one didn't feel like one — just a great day with good people, good wine, and someone who clearly loves what he does. Highly recommend if you want to see Georgia beyond Tbilisi. Ask for Gio.

I was on the tour to Mtskheta, Jvari, Gori, and Uplistsikhe from Tiflis. The itinerary is packed, but the guide, Gio, was really good at making it fun! He gave us a lot of information, also at the stops he gave us tours through the sites. The views are amazing throughout the different stops, and we had enough free time to go and explore at every stop despite the packed day 🙂 The driver, Merab, drove very carefully - which is not a given in this country 🙂 The complete day was well worth getting up early! Tips: don't make any evening plans after because of traffic it can take a lot longer to get back than planned 😅 also: bring something to eat for midday, if you don't want to do the set menu; the time in Gori is short for orientation and eating 🙂 none of these thing are the company's responsibility, though So I can just say: it was great, thanks a lot

Всю информацию по бронированию нам прислали дополнительно еще и на email. В назначенный день нас забрали из гостиницы и привезли обратно. Экскурсия длительная - 12 часов. У нас водителем и гидом были молодой парень и девушка, очень приятные ребята, постоянно заботились о том, чтобы нам было комфортно, показали и рассказали все достопримечательности по дороге. Была приятно удивлена, качеством вождения. На обратной дороге, не смотря на усталось, и гид , и водитель, оставались позитивными, включали грузинскую и русскую музыку и даже пели. We did two tours with them, and both were great. The tour to Armenia faced a problem with the vehicle at the border, and while the company did reach out to us to let us know they were aware of the situation, it would have been good to have a more transparent explanation of exactly what was happening to be more informed. However the guide Anna was great at taking charge of things and adapting, and when it became apparent it would be a long wait she walked us across the border to a local cafe and passed round snacks and local cakes while waiting. Once we got back on track, we were still able to complete the whole itinerary, and Anna was a great guide with a ton of information about every place we visited, as well as about Georgia and Armenia in general. The local lunch was delicious, and all the stops were enjoyable. A great day with a great guide. We also did the Kazbegi tour with Salo (? I didn't write down her name 🙈) which was also a very enjoyable tour. She also had lots of information about each place we visited as well as some general information about the country. The mountains are beautiful, and the honey tasting was surprisingly fun. With both tours the guides had the flexibility to adapt the schedule to meet the needs of the immediate situation whilst still including everything on the itinerary. This meant we still had lunch at a decent time in Armenia, and that we got ahead of the crowds in Kazbegi. It is nice that the company trust the guides enough to give them that freedom to adapt as needed to ensure the best experience for the visitors, rather than making them stick to rigid timings

Getting to Kazbegi from Tbilisi seemed a bit complicated, so I decided to join a tour, and it was definitely a great choice! Our tour guide, Ilia, was amazing. He shared so much interesting information with us, and thanks to him, I was able to learn much more about Georgia and understand the country on a deeper level. The only thing I was a little disappointed about was that we didn’t have quite enough time to explore each place. I used this company for two different tours. Both guides were great. But Saba was excellent on the second day! I am amazed at how he had so much energy and ability to give us a breakdown of the whole history of Georgia across 8 hours! ( I feel part Georgian) The journey went so quickly because he taught us so much. If you want to learn a lot - Saba is the guide for you! The driver didn’t put the air condition on and it was very hot and +27 and made me feel ill and kept turning it off. I have this feedback to the tour company it’s wrong to have zero air conditioning in such heat.

I went on the Rainbow mountains and David Gareji tour with Tori. He was a superb guide. On the way, he told us a lot of relevant history. You need to be young or a bit of a mountain goat as some of the walking is tricky – or just wear good shoes. The views were stunning and the monastery is fascinating.

We took the Kakheti tour with Gamarjoba Tours, and honestly, it was one of the highlights of our trip to Georgia. We already knew that Georgia is considered the birthplace of wine, but actually visiting the wine cellars, seeing the traditional winemaking process, and experiencing the wine tasting made us appreciate Georgian wine and culture on a completely different level. A special mention to our guide, Niko, who was absolutely fantastic. He was very friendly, professional, and genuinely passionate about Georgia. He was always happy to explain everything in detail, not just about Kakheti and winemaking, but also about Georgian history, culture, traditions, and life in general. His knowledge and enthusiasm made the whole experience much more interesting and enjoyable. The atmosphere, the wineries, the food, the wine tasting, and especially Niko’s explanations made this a truly memorable day for us. Tour to Kazbegi is really worth the money. It was amazing to see those majestic mountains. Our guide, Saba have a lot of knowledge and also he made sure we didn’t get bored during the drive, because it is a long drive from Tbilisi and we discussed the history of Georgia and talked a lot about history in general. My Kakheti Wine Region tour with Ilia as the guide has been the highlight of my Georgia trip so far. To be honest I haven't been impressed with the country itself, and it was nice to have a day where I felt engaged, happy and like I was actually seeing and learning something interesting. The trip was organised through the Getyourguide website. I was a bit worried it might be a bit crappy but I was very pleasantly proven wrong. Transport was in newer model Mercedes vans, and Ilia provided knowledge and perspectives that I found added a lot to the tour. Thanks and all the best!
