I would like to say that I fell in love with this town. Our tour guide George make it even better, Very cooperative, very happy person that will advise you in any questions that you might have about this city and if you are lucky enough he might play some musical instruments as a demonstration. My advice would be were comfortable shoes and some smalls snacks while you are walking. Thank you so much to all the staff,

The tour was amazing. It really made our day because we would never manage to see all this on our own. You get to see a lot and walk a lot (around 15km in 4h, according to our watches) so be prepared and wear comfy shoes. City has a lot of secret spots and back alleys and George knows them all. His English is perfect and his knowledge of history is huge. Every thing we saw he knew a story about and he really made this tour special. Highly recommend and will contact him again. Thanks George

Managed to see the best of the city during my first day all thanks to George! He’s enthusiastic, funny and very keen on answering my questions as I learned the city’s history and culture through the different monuments and landmarks that we walked through. It was like traveling with a friend!

I was actually puzzled by the early evening start and the curiously cheap price, but this tour turned out to be the best in the entire world. Don’t buy a hop-on-hop-off bus tour, just stick to this breathtaking tour. There is a wine tasting as well at the end. Reserve a table at a nice restaurant near the finishing point, which is by the river, to finish your perfect day. Even if you had only one day in Tbilissi, you would not regret.

I really enjoyed my walking tour with George. I didn’t feel it as we wandered the old city for around 3 hours. I was so taken up with the history, beauty and quirkiness of Old Tbilisi. George was informative on all of these things and had wonderful stories that made the city come to life. Old Tbilisi is stunning but it’s hard to navigate, let alone know where to catch the most amazing views and unique features of this wonderful city. So this guided tour was a great option. It helped make the most of my very limited time and I really feel like I’ve done the city justice in a short visit. Great value and no visits to certain shops or restaurants where you feel obliged to buy things, just to justify a cheaper tour price. Really recommend this trip.

I joined the walking tour at 6pm and Nick was my guide. We were visiting the most interesting places in and around the old town. I have the feeling that just within 3hours I got a fantastic impression of Tiflis! Nick explained a lot about the history and culture in a nice and refreshing way. His knowledge is extraordinary.
We were laughing a lot and the tour was a real good catch. I had enough time to take pictures and ask questions and also gained understanding about the local lifestyle.

I can highly recommend this walking tour to everyone who wants to get to know the old town and some “hidden places”, you would probably not find / see when exploring by your own.

Our wonderful guide Maria was very knowledgeable and we had a thoroughly enjoyable experience learning about the history and politics of Georgia. The trip takes you through the old town, to Peace Bridge and in the cable car to have even more amazing views of the fabulous city. Then to a bakery and wine tasting at the end of the trip. Can’t recommend it more highly.

We opted to take the walking tour of Tbilisi as it’s the best way to discover the old town so full of tradition and rich in history. What made this tour even special was our very well informed, kind, hospitable guide Giorgi Turkadze from Gamarjoba Georgia Tours. His anecdotes and history of the land made this tour a very memorable one. A must do while you are in Tbilisi and ask for Giorgi.

On first day we booked Tbilisi walking tour at 6PM. It was amazing worth to do with them. If you really want to explore real tbilisi then must go with it. The guide Giorgi is champ and we had a great time with him. He was very much interactive and keep on sharing the detail information.

On second day, we booked private tour kazbegi. It was great experience with their guide Natali. She is good in everything from knowledge sharing to customer service. She took care of us from the beginning to the end. If you want to do any activity then must go with them as they have good contact in each place. We went for paragliding with the xgudauri which was recommended by Natali. It was also a great experience.

About the support team, they are also very supportive and prompt on response. Even in off time George and Baya was answering all my questions quickly.

Overall i really appreciate team work by Gomarjoba people.

Giorgi was a friendly and affable guide who was able to connect with everyone in the group. He was polite and accomodating to all the questions that were asked. His tour was a good balance between wit and information and made history quite lovely. Would recommend anyone to ask for Giorgi for the evening walking tour.

Also George was helping me to take nice photograph of myself for Instagram and he showed the exact spot for that. By the way it’s worth going for this tour, but be prepared to walk for 3hours.
