What a fantastic day! We booked the trip the day before and the tour company was great. Baya got in touch with us via WhatsApp and sent the itinerary and pick up time. Our guide David was brilliant! Great with the kids all day, which is no mean feat, as they are non-stop!

Every stop we made was amazing. The country is absolutely beautiful and far exceeded expectations. The last stop at Rooms Hotel Kezbegi was the perfect way to round off the day with good food and great wine.

We would recommend this trip to anyone, even those with young kids (ours are 7 and 4).

    We will be back again

This has been another amazing trip I took with WSTG Meidan Sq (I took 6 tours with them in total in only 1 week) – this trip is the jewel on the crown – the cheery on the cake – a must trip in order to understand the core of the beauty of Georgia. Again – the guide was perfect – Mr Zezov, who gave us many interesting insights and great guidance through all this day. It is a long day – but it worth it. The scenery is so beautiful – i couldn’t get off of my iphone – i made so many pictures. Must!

Really enjoyed each stop on this tour, our guide Alex was very nice and gave us a lot of information on the history and culture, the restaurant where we stopped for lunch served amazing food and most of all I fulfilled my dream of seeing the Caucasus mountains,
which are breathtaking. would definitely recommend this tour!

Gio, our tour guide was great, knew all the information that we wanted. It was great to see some of the important sites of Georgia with a Georgian. It was about a 14 hour day but don’t let that put you off, the pacing of the tour is very good so the time flies by.

It was a 15h trip with all the important highlights-stops on the way. The guide kept us entertained and told us all the important stories in good English. He used ice-breaker at the beginning of the trip to get us talking about ourselves (hobbies, favorite food and dream destinations for the next holiday) and to get to know each other to make it less awkward during the day. Everyone was really lovely. I would highly recommend that tour to everyone who wants to see a bit more of Georgia than just Tbilisi. Great exercise too but not too much as my knee is injured but I was still able to climb everywhere we needed to go, it was not too demanding. We also had enough time at every stop to walk around and take pictures. Great value for the money! I opted for the river rafting and that was great fun too! Don’t miss that but bring a set of clothes to change (incl. underwear, you will be soaked). All in all a memorable day of fun and adventure. Thank you very much Nick for everything!

David was amazing! Our tour ended up being a little smaller so he drove my wife and I in his own car. It was a great experience with amazing food and exquisite scenery.

The return was a little later than I would have liked but was well worth it. There really isn’t anyway to get back any earlier with so much to do.

We’re glad to have been with this tour on our last day in Tbilisi. It was well organized, in a small group of six travellers. the tour itinerary was nicely paced with interesting stops, and just about enough time for each. At no point did we feel forced to visit some shops or uninteresting „fillers“.

Georgi was our guide. He’s knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Aside from the excellent stories for each visited place, he always has some interesting tidbits to share when we asked. We wish him the best, and would love to have him as our tour guide again one day.

We decided for the rafting, before lunch. It was a nice little trip down the stream, nothing strenuous. And the scenery—fields of wild flowers in a vibrant green valley—was stunning.

The roads from and back to Tbilisi could be quite steep and winding, and pending the weather, require careful maneuvering. However, the driver was good at handing both the van and the 4×4. I normally experience some level of car sickness when sitting in such a vehicle, but it was surprisingly a smooth and comfortable ride.

    All in all, highly recommended.

Complimenti

This was the most wonderful day. Guga as our guide, showed us so many sights and shared so much information on the region. He was a great guide, and cared about us all. There was another guide from another group, who also was so lovely and caring about our wellbeing. His name was Niko… these 2 guys made our day do special and I won’t forget either of them. Thankyou so much. Also, Baya, who stays behind the scenes, arranged everything and was so informative and professional… always following up to see if she could help or offer more assistance in any way. The lunch was very long…but we were in great company so it didnt matter! Thankyou all again.

This day was amazing. The guide Luka was very kind and helpful the whole day. We stopped at beautiful places and we had the chance to take some photos, eat amazing food and above all enjoy gorgeous Georgian landscapes. It was peefect!!!

No trip to Georgia can be complete without visiting the stunning mountains, churches, and monasteries of this region just north of the capital city of Tbilisi. Numerous tour operators to choose from, with most day trips commencing at 9 and finishing around 8. This trip was the highlight of our vacation. Strongly recommended.

The trip to Jvari Monastery, Gudauri, Kazbegi was wonderful and awesome. Nice landscapes, good scenery, lot of historical places to visit. Luka is a very nice, gentle and helpful guide. The tour company Gamarjoba is a relatively young company, with a young and energetic team, all attentive to the customers need. During all the four day trips we went with them in Georgia, the company representatives personally messaged or called me to find out how the trip is progressing. Cant expect more from a tour company. The CEO of the company George too personally ensures that the tourists are well taken care off and even the minutest issues are addressed.I will sure recommend this trip and company to travel saggy tourists.

What a great trip! I had just a short time in Georgia, so I wanted to see as much as possible while I was there. This tour was perfect for this — leaving from Tbilisi, we headed straight up the highway towards Russia, seeing everything on the way. Luka our guide was kind and helpful. I wouldn’t have been able to see nearly as much taking marshrutkas the whole time! Thank you for the lovely time in Georgia 🙂

This trip is a must, you get to see so many amazing places with great scenes, my favorite parts were in Gudauri panorama and Gregeti church with fantastic views from top of the mountains.

Trip was well organized, our tour coordinator Baya helped us so much with providing all needed details and followup, would definitely recommend this to anyone who’s visiting especially if you have a short stay.

Our guide, Guga, was on time picking us up on our hotel and very knowledgeable with all of the history of Georgia, which is very interesting to know. Itineraries were followed as scheduled. The places were Amazing! Optional activities were wonderful! It was our first time to try water rafting (don’t forget to bring extra clothes if you’re doing the rafting) and paragliding (a must when in Georgia especially in Gudauri).
A very interesting, fun and adventurous tour! Thank you for making our stay in Georgia a very pleasant experience

We were part of a small group who enjoyed a full day in the beautiful georgian mountains. We visited small picturesque churches surrounded by majestic mountains, with scenic views at every stop. We enjoyed a tasteful georgian lunch on our way. Our lovely guide, Salome, was so enthusiastic and could tell us a lot of interesting facts about georgian history, culture, society, and last but not least – food and wine. We had such a great time. Sophie, a very friendly member of the staff at Gamarjoba, gave us lots of useful information in advance and made sure everything went well. Also thanks to our driver!

I would recommend Luca and his company to all travellers. They are not that expensive, have a professional team and good cars to take you around!

We had a great day with our guide David and a small group (4 persons). this tour covers many highlights of Georgia. From beautiful monasterys and fortresses to a horse ride in the Caucasus. Thanks David!

George and Mishiko, they are so nice guide and driver!
They came to hotel and picked me up, it was so convenient.
I could visit many places in a day, and he described me detail of every place and information of Georgia.
If you go every place by mini bus, will need too much time, this tour was so efficient.

Every place was so nice, especially Mt.kazbek and Trinity church are wonderful and unforgettable!
Near by kazbek was so cold, I recommend you to prepare warm clothes.

Choice of restaurant was also excellent!
    I absolutely recommend this tour!

We did the A full day tour with our guide Mari and driver George. Mari is a enthusiastic guide telling us a lot of interesting information about the places we visited. It was a rainy start but we borrowed raincoats from the tour operators which was great. The day just got better and better. The views are amazing. Worth the trip. Small group of 3.

We went on this tour this week and it was excellent! George was our guide and he was very knowledgeable and friendly! If you get a chance to do this tour you should!

We were lucky, the weather was perfect for a day trip to Kazbegi.
I will go again only for the landscape along the road.
The trip was very well organized. Thank you David!
I tried to review the trip from my phone when I was in Georgia.
If this is the second review I apologise but they deserve two reviews :).

One of the most organized and well communicated tour group I’ve ever been on. If only all tour companies can learn from them.. traveling would be so relaxing. Catherina (spelling?) Was our tour guide and she was always ready to answer questions and was always ready to take your pictures. (Which is really helpful as a solo traveler). I would recommend any of their tour knowing how they operate

We started with David in the morning in Tbilisi, before one of his colleagues picked us up by taxi. There were many stops on the tour and David was always ready to respond individually to our needs. A highlight of the tour was certainly Kazbegi, but also in between there were incredibly beautiful places like the water reservoir and generally the landscape. David is a very nice, funny and helpful guide, with a great taste in music.

This was an amazing tour with amazing people! First off, Baya was very helpful as the account manager and helped answer my question a few days before the tour. A day before my tour, my driver messaged me and let me know he would be at my hotel for pickup. Misho my driver was very nice and made the experience great! David, the tour guide was also amazing as he tailored the trip to us for a great experience! They both made the trip nice and funny. They both also had great knowledge about each place we visited. I would recommend this tour to anyone!

  30. Rated 5 out of 5

The entire experience from start to finish was incredible. Baya, our account manager, was in contact within minutes of the booking being made and kept us informed of everything we needed to know in the lead up to the tour. Our tour leader, George, was excellent. His knowledge of all the places we visited and the history of Georgia bordered on encyclopedic. He combines this with a wicked sense of humour that made this one of the best day tours I have done anywhere. Would recommend this tour to anyone without hesitation.

Fantastic full day out into the mountains from Tbilisi with our guide, George and our driver. We were lucky in that it was just our small group on this tour today so had a private tour. Vehicle was a very comfortable, modern 6 person van.
The scenery was amazing with the changing colours of the trees and higher, the long skree slopes. Blue skies meant that we were treated to the sight of Kazbegi peak clear and proud in the distance behind the Gregeti church.
George was an absolute gem of a guide with a great personality and a passion for history, offering up lots of information on the ride and at the stops. Lots of fun and laughs along the way.
We’ve already booked in for another tour with the company based on today’s experience.

This was easily the best tour we took while in the Caucasus, and one of the best tours I’ve ever taken. It was a very small group of us English-speakers so it was very personal, and then there was a separate Russian-speaking group that we joined at points. George (our guide) was extremely knowledgable in history, geography, politics, language, and more, and he was excited to share this with us. He even explained even the smallest cultural differences to us. Baya (our account manager) even checked in on us mid-day. We got to see a lot, but it still felt very relaxing and personable. I cannot recommend this trip and our guide George highly enough. Definitely take this tour if you’re in Georgia.

I wasn’t having the best of luck in Georgia due to several reasons regarding accommodation and work, when I found this tour in GetMyGuide.

The people from Gamarjoba are super attentive and nice, since the first moment Sophie already sent information to my Whatsapp and offered support, after that, when I arrived to the Metro station they guided me to the office where I checked in and went to my minibus.

Our guide was Katie, she is the person who found the right place to be, she loves the country as well as what she does, I was also very lucky with my tour mates, they were a great group.

  35. Rated 5 out of 5

We travelled with small group (4 people) and the guide Katie, which was amazing and knowledgeable. This trip was definitely the highlight of my trip to Georgia, I traveled solo so i got to meet interesting people and visit beautiful places. Lana the trip manager was very organised and very helpful and friendly, from the very beginning of the booking process and to the trip itself.

I can highly recommend the tour. The landscape is fantastic, the different stops are very interesting and you get so much to see of Georgian cultural history and of course the Caucasus mountains in just one day.

The tour operator is very professional and fair.
It is possible to cancel the tour 24h before the start (but you better stick to it ;-)), the pickup was on time and we went to the office first. There we changed into a modern Mercedes bus and I met the other participants (only about 12 people in total). The driver was very careful on the steep and curvy mountain roads. Our tour guide explained a lot and answered all our questions. For lunch we stopped at a restaurant in Gudauri. You should try the Georgian food, it was very delicious and we ordered way too much.

Give it a go and book this tour! I will book another tour of this operator when I come back in Georgia, probably the wine tasting tour 🙂

Great way to discover Georgia if you are short of time and want to see important landmarks(Historically and natural). Everything was very well organized and coordinated, our tour guide Katie did phenomenal job providing us with important and interesting facts not only about places which we have visited but Georgia as country and Georgians also. We were able to keep the timeline really well and see everything what was on the agenda. Our driver was skilled and vehicle was good, the whole trip was so convenient and comfortable without any issue. Totally worth it

The tour was very informative and our tour guide Ekaterina, always had a good energy, eager to answer every question and inform us about Georgia’s history.

Since winter is entering already..we started with Jvari Monastery and doing the stops on our way up to Kazbegi so that we could take advantage of sunlight.

P.S.: If you love dogs, may we recommend you to bring dog food along with you.. Since we encountered a few of them on every stop we made.

Check Gamarjoba Georgia Tours out! You won’t regret it!

Thank you guys for welcoming into your country and showing us the best of it!

This is an excellent way to discover Georgia. The group was small enough to be able to meet fellow tourists. The tour group made sure to contact us prior to arriving in Georgia and made arrangements to pick us up. Beka was so helpful and gave us a short introduction to the history of Tbilisi. Our guide for the tour, Ekaterina, was so engaging and shared with us the deep history the region holds. The Jvari Monestery was breathtaking. The views surrounding all of the stops just took your breath away. Each stop had a story to tell and Ekaterina brough them all to life. The tour far exceeded our expectation. HIghly recommend for anyone wanting to explore Georgia.

I booked my tour via GAMARJOBA. As soon as I had the email confirmation, an agent from the company Baya sent me a message informing me about the Iterinary. It was a very quick response and within a couple of minutes everything was settled. Baya is very professional and reliable.

Our Tour Guide Guga (not sure if I spelled it correctly) was great and wonderful. At a very young age he is very professional, approachable and very knowledgeable. He looked after each and every one of us.

I had also the chance to eat with a local family in Gori. The host was George of Gori in Georgia (GGG) as he introduced himself to us. Had a great lunch with a cooked home meals. The food are tasty and very delicious.

Overall the experience was great, the best and i really enjoyed it. Aside from the places that we went on this trip, the most beautiful things i’ve seen are the people of Georgia.

In the great words of George of Gori in Georgia “We all live in a place called earth. There should not be any boundaries, no labels, no color or race, we are all human beings living on earth”

Thank you Gamarjoba and thank you Georgia! We die once and live everyday! Enjoy life! Cheers to all

It is a long day but well worth it. We had the pleasure of being in the company of Katie and the lovely driver (whose name I have shamefully forgotten). They could both speak English impeccably and delivered their stories of Georgia with passion and humor. They ordered the lunch ahead of time so we were able to enjoy the anticipation of Georgian delicacies such as Jonjoli, Khinkali, and Lobio with Mchadi. We had the menu in advance so we could choose. All reasonably priced. We were able to stay online via Katie’s mobile so we could do our own discoveries, and add to the playlist. Thank you both for a wonderful day out. You are real pros

The tour was truly fantastic! Our guide, George, was extremely knowledgeable on all of the places we saw without making the trip dry. Instead of a tour-like atmosphere it felt as though we were hanging out with a friend, which made the beautiful sites in Stepantsminda, the Jvari monestary and the friendship monument even more interesting. To top it all off, he gave fantastic recommendations and really seemed to care about teaching us about Georgia and it”s culture. This tour is definitely a must if you are traveling to Georgia!

The day trip from Tbilisi to Jvari Monastery, Ananuri, Gudauri, and Gergeti Trinity Church is an unbelievable experience not to be missed! Besides the spectacular scenery, this tour company — especially tour guides Gio and Salo — were totally engaged in making every detail of the trip as enjoyable and interesting as possible for us. Even the light rain did not stop Gio from giving us the full experience. Truly one of the most memorable trips I have done in recent years.

Highly recommend this tour if you want to see beautiful landscapes including Georgia’s stunning mountains. The tour guide Toki was attentive to all of our needs and throughly explained every stop we went to. We had a great tour today, Thanks to Gamorjoba Tour Agency and our tour guide George, they have shown us spectacular view of its snowy mountains and church historical site. He have also share us about its fun stories of legend and a lesson of becoming Georgian Wine Toast Masters (Tamada)…, I would recommend this trip in Gamarjoba Tour, if your visiting Georgia.

We had a great time on the tour! Tiko was a great guide and told us all about Georgia’s history and how it plays into how Georgia is today, as well as explaining interesting backstories to the churches and locations we visited, and seemed to tailor the experience and information given to our specific interests. Gocha, our driver, was also great and made sure we got where we were going safely and efficiently. All around amazing team and I highly recommend Gamarjoba Tours for your trip to the mountains. Kazbegi is AMAZING and I especially recommend going in the winter time; a must do during your trip to Tbilisi/Georgia!!

I just had a trip today, going outside around Tbilisi. The tour was well designed. We went though all the famous scenic spots. Coz of snow, the view is even more fantastic. We can not go to Kazbegi as the road was blocked by heavy snow. Instead, silver lining, I did my first time paragliding and skiing. Fantastic experience and sooo cool.

The guide is Nika, very gentleman and nice. I feel so happy to have this one day trip. I love Georgian and will come back in Autumn to have different flavor of this country.

This was a great scenic tour! It covers some of the most beautiful scenic spots. The Gergeti Holy Trinity Church is located at such a mind blowing place, on the foothills of Kazbegi Mountains at an elevation of 2,170 meters. No words can fully describe the feeling you get once you arrive at the Gergeti Trinity Church! Views are literally breathtaking!

There was a snowfall when we were in Gudauri and at The Russia–Georgia Friendship Monument which made my good friend Fe so excited as it was her first time to see snow capped mountains and experience snowfall.

Our guide Katerina was amazing! She went out of the way to make us comfortable while keeping the tour informative, exciting and fun! It felt more as a friend took us around her homeland, rather than an arranged tour. Thanks Katerina for that unforgettable experience. Will definitely recommend this tour and Gamarjoba Georgia Tours.

The snow mountain adventure in Gudauri & Kazbegi last 6th Feb 2020 is wonderfully amazing, our tour guide Tornike is awesome and great! He has made the trip mode exciting and enjoyable. He explains and tells all the beautiful history of the place and it is really intersting and fun.
Sepcially the trip to Trinity Gergeti was super amazing and lovely
Kudos to Tornike and thanks for making this trip a lovely memory

Had a great day trip with guide Giorgi—even though there was a lot of snow we got extremely lucky and were able to reach all the stops on the itinerary. Gergeti Trinity Church is in such a dramatically gorgeous place!! And there’s a really impressive view of Mount Kazbegi from there. Lunch at the ski resort was DELICIOUS and reasonably priced. Since I was the only person who booked for the day, Giorgi was super flexible and gave me lots of options of how to organize the day. There’s an opportunity at the ski resort to ski or paraglide, but I chose to go to the Russia-Georgia Friendship Monument instead (the views from there are spectacular). If you’re coming in winter I would recommend contacting the tour company in advance to check recent road conditions—if there’s a lot of snow there’s no guarantee you’ll make it all the way to Kazbegi/Gergeti, but the other stops are also super scenic. Will definitely come back some day to see this in the summer and will book with this awesome company again!!
