    Such a wonderful day!
We asked for a private tour with custom times as we did not have the whole day, and they went a great lengths to accommodate our needs. The company is very precise they contacted us through whatsapp and arranged everything with us and we were able to contact them for everything. Our guide, Roman, had been very nice and, as we did not have time for a lunch at the restaurant, brought us to a local market where we tasted the best bread I’ve ever tried and very good cheese and we could see people baking bread. We saw wonderful things, tasted great wine, and we had a great day discovering the wine region 🙂 Highly recommended!!!

10/10, if you are thinking to visit Georgia think about this local trip agency as they are VERY professional, punctual, young and dynamic. Ask them for Roman so you will enjoy your holidays even more.

The wine tour started with a pick up from the hotel in the morning.
Our guide Marion was very passionate about introducing us to Georgian culture and wine.
During the drive to the Kakheti wine region, we stopped in a couple of interesting locations with great views.
There are numerous vineyard tours available in the region. We did a total of three in the day which is plenty.
The tour includes at each vineyard the basic package, but if you want to try a greater variety including premium wines you will need to pay a little more. The upgrade package prices we encountered were 15-40 Georgian Lari ($4-$12) per person. You will have the chance to choose between European (stored in metal or oak barrels) or authentic Georgian wine stored in giant clay vessels.
We opted for the traditional Georgian wine and so did most other people.
You have the option to buy the wines afterwards.
The prices are pretty low 12-40 Georgian Lari ($3.50-$12) for some really nice wine.
Of course you can pay more but quite honestly in the blind tastings we had some of the best wine was maybe $4-$6 per bottle and had won multiple regional and international wine awards which were displayed at the venue.
Take a couple of bottles of water with you. Make sure you go to the bathroom before you set off or return, it’s a long day with a lot of driving.
The wine tours include some small prices if bread and cheese which is ok, but you will want to buy lunch en route which is readily available
Payments for wine can be made by card but it’s worth having a small amount of cash with you also for a tip for the driver and guide.

We took the day wine tour with gamarjoba and it exceeded our expectations. The tour included several stops for wine tasting, in addition to a stop for authentic homemade cheese and bread. The wine region is amazing and our tour guide Sasha made our experience unforgettable. He is energetic, dedicated, and extremely friendly. He displayed Georgian generosity at its best and made us fall in love with Georgia and its hospitable and humble people. Sasha went above and beyond to make our experience special, and we really consider him as our friend in Georgia and not just a tour guide who took care of us. Highly recommend especially if you are a group of friends looking for a tour full of fun, energy, adventures, and new experiences.

Our third day in Georgia we had the private wine tour to Kakheti region. The sightseeing and photo opportunities were amazing, the wine was delicious and very reasonably priced. What added to perfection was Gamarjoba’s team. Ioane and Natalie. By the end of the tour we felt we have new friends and we learnt so much about Georgia, kakheti and Georgian wines. I recommend Gamarjoba and Ioane/ Natalie for an unforgettable tour

It was a very great tour with pick up at the hotel at 09.30 and returned actually almost 12 hours later. We had stops at three different wineries, all of them very good. We were also shown other places and points of interest during the trip.

The driver/guide was nice and fun and easy to talk to and he never hurried us, so we could explore the wineries as much as we wanted.

A nice day in the beautiful Georgian landscape.

Had a great tour to the Kakheti wine region from Tbilisi. Our driver/guide (Ioane) arrived on time, and took us to some very nice spots in Kakheti. He is a thorough professional, very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. We visited a local winery for a tour of wine making and tasted 4 different wines there. Ioane had us stop at some very good locations for pictures, food etc.
    Highly recommended.

My husband and I enjoyed a wine tour in Georgia’s Kakheti wine region.

The tour manager Baya was really friendly and helpful. She kept in contact with us during the tour and answered any questions we had.

Our tour guide Katy was amazing! Such a fun, bubbly personality. She was so knowledgeable and we really gained insight into Georgian culture and past. In my opinion Katy made the tour really great.

Our driver was also good and the vehicle was clean and comfortable.

I would definitely recommend Gamarjorba Georgia Tours to anyone wanting to tour Georgia, especially if you are lucky enough to get Katy as your tour guide.
